In order to forge stronger links with our local community and to spread a love of reading, we have hiden books in the local area; ready for families to take them home to read and then to hide the books again ready for other families to find and enjoy. This links in with our recent grant from Canterbury City Council to fund our Communication Communication project which is supporting families and the local community. If you find our books, you can let us know on our facebook page!
April 19– we were lucky enough to enjoy a visit from our local Police Community Support Officers. The children had a great time finding out about how they help us all- and even got a chance to switch the flashing lights on! We are very grateful for them giving up their time to visit Stepping Stones.
Our recent trip to Howletts: we had a wonderful time and the children were an absolute credit to us. They coped really well with quite a long walk but loved spotting the various animals with their friends.
