April 2019 Newsletter
We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and are looking forward to some more fun and learning and hopefully some sunshine! Could you please ensure your children are appropriately dressed for warmer weather with tops that cover the shoulders and hats? Sun-cream should be in a named bottle and you will need to have filled in a consent form for us to apply it to your child. Open-toed shoes are not practical for climbing trees and running!
Thank you to all that came to our gardening day. It was lovely to see so many faces and really great to get so much done. Our garden and sheds are much happier now! Special thanks to Viv for organising the planting.
Please remember that we are unable to open on Thursday 2nd May as the hall is used as a polling station. We will also be closed on Thursday 23rd May for European elections. Whilst this is frustrating, we are sure you will agree it is out of our control. We are also closed on Monday 6th May as it is a Bank Holiday.
Our parent rota will, as ever, be displayed on our notice board; it would be great if you could sign up. Children love having someone special to stay, you can enjoy yourself with your child and we get some help with the washing up. It’s a win-win!
Those of you that are leaving us in the summer should now have been allocate school places. As soon as we are aware of which school is lucky enough to have your children, we can begin to arrange transition visits. Could you please let your child’s key person know as soon as possible?
Please do take a look at our website at www.steppingstonescanterbury.org.uk Claire spends a lot of time keeping our website looking fabulous, it would be great if you could have a look.
We currently have some places available for September, if you know anyone who requires a place, can you please encourage them to drop in or email: firstname.lastname@example.org, or to give us a ring on: 07980492024
Thank you, The Stepping Stones Team.
