Easter Fair

Thank you to everyone who attended the Easter Fair and supported our fund-raising. Congratulations to Bella and Benjamin for their success in the Easter Bonnet Parade, there was a very high standard of bonnets this year so thank you to all who made such a wonderful effort. We made a total of £260.00 , some of which has already been spent on a new carpet, a marble run and some new puzzles.

Notice Board

Please look at our notice board for information regarding topics, snack-time and of course, the parent rota. Our topic this term is “Science” and we will be talking about Weather, Seasons, Planting and Growing, Planets and Space, and Life-Cycles amongst other things.

Parent Rota

The parent rota is on the board each term, please sign up to help for a morning if you can, it really is a lot of fun and the children are so delighted when Mums or Dads can come in to help.

Summer Weather

Hopefully, as the warmer weather approaches your child will need a sun hat, t-shirts which cover their shoulders and possibly sun cream. We ask that you apply their sun cream before they arrive in the morning, if you need us to re-apply during the morning you will need to complete a “Sun Cream Consent Form”. We also ask that all children wear sensible footwear, sandals, flip-flops and open toed types are not really suitable for running & climbing activities which are always available in the garden at this time of the year.

September Places

The register for September is now closed and we are full. If your child will still be with us in September and you have not already done so could you please confirm with Denise the days you require.

Reception Teacher Visits

As we now know the school allocations for your children going on to “Big School” Denise will arrange for the Reception Teachers to come in and visit during Term 6, she will inform you of the dates once they have been confirmed.

Parent’s Meetings

All parents will be offered a time to come in and discuss their child’s progress next term, this will either be at the beginning or end of a session and hopefully one evening so that all parents are accommodated.

Committee Treasurer

Our existing Treasurer, Sally Such will be stepping down at the end of this school year as her youngest son will be going to big school. We are still looking for any interested person to take on this role. Please see Sally or Denise if you are you would like to find out more about this role.
