Risk Assessment and Covid-19 policy (updated Jan 21)

Dear All,

We are constantly updating our Covid-19 risk assessment and policy; both are attached for you to read. Please do take the time to familiarise yourselves with their content. As Canterbury remains a tier 4 area, we would appreciate your help as we work hard to keep our families and the team safe.  We would like to draw your attention to a few matters in particular.
Please continue to social distance and wear a face covering at pick up and drop off.
We would be grateful if you could move away from the gate as soon as possible.
Naming all of your child’s equipment will really help with this; it should reduce the time you need to wait for lost items.
Please send your child to Stepping Stones in wellies and if possible: a puddle suit. Do not send your child with shoes to change into, wellies will be removed at the door and children can wear socks inside. We would be very grateful for donations of spare socks.
Do not use the car park if at all possible; this will help to keep our families safe as they socially distance.
Please do not send children to Stepping Stones if they are in any way unwell; anecdotal evidence suggests that many Covid-19 infections do not present with the classic symptoms and at this time we feel it is best to err on the side of caution.
Bags should be left at Stepping Stones, please do not send children in with bags that need returning home. Children should not bring in items from home.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you all next week.
The Stepping Stones Team
