Easter Fair

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Easter Fair, we raised a wonderful £244.00 which will go towards the purchase of some new ICT toys and equipment for the children. The Easter Bonnet Parade was the highlight of the afternoon, a very high standard of bonnets were on display this year so thank you to everyone who made such a fantastic effort. Congratulations to our winners, Olive and Reuben. The colouring competition was won by May and Peter correctly named the Easter Bunny who was in fact named Peter!

Notice Board

Please look at our notice board for information regarding topics, planning, snack-time and of course, the parent rota. Our topic this term is “Our Local Community”.

Parent Rota

The parent rota has not been very well supported over the last two terms, in fact last term we only had two parents who volunteered. If you do have a spare morning then please consider coming in, the children love Mum or Dad to stay for a session and apart from doing the washing up it really is a great deal of fun.

Primary School Places

School places have now been issued so please make sure you tell Denise where your child will be going and any dates of upcoming visits. She will then arrange for the Teachers to come in and visit them at Stepping Stones.

Parent’s meeting

All parents will be given a choice of dates for a parent consultation meeting to discuss their child’s progress over the next few weeks. Please make sure that you return the forms promptly to ensure that you get a suitable appointment.

Waitrose tokens

A huge thank you to Waitrose who have donated £340 to us via their charitable token scheme. This has helped toward the cost of our Mud Kitchen and will also be used to purchase some ICT equipment.

Polling Day

Sadly Stepping Stones will be closed on Thursday 4th May 2017 as the Hall is used as a Polling Station.

You can donate online to us (www.thebiggive.org.uk) just scroll down and search for Stepping Stones Pre-School.
