Easter Fair

Thank you to everyone who attended the Easter Fair, we hope you all enjoyed the day. The Easter Bonnet Parade was the highlight for us all and well done and thank you to everyone who made such a wonderful effort with the hats. We are delighted to inform you that we raised just over £180.00 which will be well spent on new equipment.

New Equipment

We have purchased some new blackboards and large dinosaur mirrors for the outside area. We have also planted some flowers and vegetables in our garden. We have also ordered an outdoor coat and boot rack so that the children can access the garden in all weathers independently. Our computer sadly stopped working towards the end of the last term and we have managed to get a replacement, kindly donated by HelpSystems (www.helpsystems.com), which is all set up for when the children return next week.

School Closure

We must close for the day on Thursday 7th May as the Hall is used as a Polling Station, apologies for the inconvenience but we have no control over this.

Gardening Day

We had our annual gardening day during the Easter Holiday and thankfully we had lots of helpers. Thank you to the parents, grandparents, former children and all of our families who came and helped. The garden has been weeded, tidied up and re-planted, the bird boxes have been cleaned and replaced and the bird feeders re-filled. The children also helped to tidy the shed and wash all of the outdoor toys. Well done everyone.

Primary School Places

All children who are going into their Reception class in September should have received their placement offers by now. If you have any problems please see Denise as soon as possible.

Summer Term

Parents should ensure that your child is suitably dressed for the summer weather. Sensible footwear, trainers especially would be best and a sun hat of some sort is essential. We prefer that shoulders should be covered with a t-shirt. You can apply sun-cream to your child in the morning and if you need us to re-apply during the session you must fill out the necessary form.
